Mr Sulav Raj Kolakshyapati
WNSO (World Nepalese Students Organisation) is an altruistic organisation. It
has performed benevolent effort to enhance the future of the Nepalese students.
I was one of those young people in Nepal where choosing a course and college is
very dubious because the process is demanding and was proving a significant one
in shaping my future. But at the same time, I saw the advertisement of WNSO
scholarship program and I went for that. I attended exams and interview.
Successfully, I was nominated for scholarship.
I was pleased to get the scholarship through WNSO in ICT systems at Icon College
of Technology and Management, UK. I was really delighted on the very day,
honestly speaking I was overwhelmed.
When I reached here I was first a bit nervous thinking about the people over
here and their discrimination habit but what I used to think about was my
misconception. This was my first time that I was far from my parents; I was
scared about being alone in unfamiliar country. But up to this period I haven’t
come across this sort of feeling coz WNSO have been much more helpful to me from
VISA application to early life in the UK.
UK education system is well known throughout the world, I am obviously proud to
be educated from here. The teachers are co-operative and caring. And the main
thing is that there isn’t discrimination among the students in college.
Finally, I’m really happy to be here. WNSO has played pivotal role in shaping my
life and career which seems very bright to me and wouldn’t have been possible
without assistance of WNSO. And I always will be grateful to WNSO for that.
